The Aegan Escape - Sailing Adventure in Greece
The Aegean Escape is an 8-day hosted small-group sailing trip through the Greek islands, starting from Athens.
We’ll sail from island to island, swim in turquoise bays, dock in charming harbours and share long dinners by the sea. No sailing experience needed — everything is organised for you.

Day 1 — Arrival in Athens & Welcome Aboard
Meet at Alimos Marina, settle into your cabin, and enjoy a welcome drink with the group. We’ll spend the night in the marina and head out in the morning.
Day 2 — Kythnos
We'll sail to Kythnos Island to start the week. Here we get to visit one of the most breathtaking beaches in Europe, Kolona Beach
Day 3 — Agistri & Hidden Coves
Morning swim, slow sail, and a stop in one of the clearest bays in Greece. Paddle boards, snorkeling, and optional small hike.
Day 4 — Poros Town
Arrive in the charming harbor of Poros. Cafés, shops, sunset viewpoints, and a lively evening atmosphere.
Day 5 — Hydra
Hydra is the jewel of the Saronic Gulf — no cars, only donkeys and sea breeze. Wander the alleys and enjoy the magical atmosphere.
Day 6 — Spetses or return toward Athens
Depending on weather and group vibe, we explore Spetses or start sailing back, anchoring in a quiet bay for the night.
Day 7 — Return to Athens
Final sail back to Alimos. Checkout by 9 am. Hugs, goodbyes, and memories to take home.
Day 8 — Goodbyes
Morning coffee, hugs, and departures. Leaving with salt in your hair and a better feel for life under sail.

What's the payment schedule?
A booking is confirmed once the initial deposit of USD 500 has been received. The deposit secures the Guest’s place on the trip and is applied toward the total trip price.
The remaining balance is divided into two equal instalments:
- First instalment: due four (4) months prior to departure
- Final instalment: due two (2) months prior to departure

I’m Axel, a Finnish skipper who lives most of the year at sea.
I run these trips so more people can experience what sailing actually feels like – not on a cruise ship, but on a real sailboat with a small crew.
